I fished last week with a good friend and client Tomas he specifically requested that he wanted to fish in Flamingo for Redfish and Snook on fly. We started off early to take advantage of calm conditions so we were blind casting flies into potholes as the tide fell out. We caught a nice Snook, Lost a couple Redfish and broke off two baby Tarpon! Once the tide fell out we repositioned ourselves to take advantage of the incoming tide we poled for a while without seeing fish but the tide got right and the reds and snook started working as we caught some fish and lost several fish. Overall it was a great day on the water doing what I love most helping people become better Anglers and teaching them the how to of this great sport of Saltwater Fly Fishing!
