HURRICANE IAN HEATS UP THE FISHING

As we prepare for Ian's landfall sometime this week I just have to talk about how good the fishing was this week! We had great weather with good tides and they fish were really happy we caught Redfish, Snook and some Medium sized Tarpon. We caught all of our fish on fly and had the most incredible Sunrises with calm conditions. If you Know Tarpon they love when its calm and still they can be seen rolling they also like to lay up and float around versus swimming frantically from one spot to the next. Most of the fish we threw at were in the 40-70lb Range which is my favorite size for the fly rod. Fishing should be really good once the storm moves out and we get normal weather patterns again.
