Summertime can be a magical time in the Everglades with Redfish, Snook and Baby Tarpon available. This past week I went looking in some spots I hadn't fished in a while and with great surprise the fishing was as good as I remember! We caught multiple big speckled sea trout, Snook and Redfish we even caught a bonus Tripletail on fly. An early start is the key to success on the flats this time of year as it gets really hot and the fishing can at times slow down but most often it stays good as long as we have current.
